The Town of Blooming Grove located in the New York’s Hudson River Valley is known for both its scenic beauty and for the role it has played in the history of this Nation.

There are twelve blue and gold historic markers located in the Town of Blooming Grove and its Villages of South Blooming Grove and Washingtonville. Only blue and gold metal historic markers are numbered in this document.

Note that only Old Dominion Church has New York State Historic Designation. All other markers are designated by the Town of Blooming Grove or the Board of Education.

There are other historic buildings and monuments in the Town and its Villages captured in the following list as well.

There are many undocumented historic sites in the Town and its Villages, and these should be documented as well and historic marker placed at these locations.
